Kandan Tikus Putih

Kandang memiliki 3 tipe yaitu kandang pembesaran, kandang menyusui dan kandang kawin :
1. Kandang pembesaran berguna bagi anakkan yang akan dibesarkan. Biasanya kandang pembesaran berisi anak tikus putih yang berumur 21 hari (baru disapih) hingga 50+100 hari.
Kandang pembesaran dapat dibuat dengan kayu papan dan menngunakan alas dari triplek, dengan ukuran 2 x 1 meter.
Pada bagian alas ditambahkan sekam agar tidak becek. Pengganti sekam dapat mempergunakan serutan kayu (penekanan biaya)

Kandang Sapi

Fungsi Kandang : Kandang merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam suatu usaha peternakan, terutama dalam penggemukan ternak potong. Bangunan kandang yang baik harus bisa memberikan jaminan hidup yang sehat dan nyaman. Bangunan kandang diupayakan pertama-tama untuk melindungi sapi terhadap gangguan dari luar yang merugikan, baik dari sengatan matahari, kedinginan, kehujanan dan tiupan angin kencang. Selain itu, kandang juga harus bisa menunjang peternak dalam melakukan kegiatannya, baik dari segi ekonomi maupun segi kemudahan dalam pelayanan.

Pemilihan lokasi
Pemilihan lokasi ternak kelinci banyak dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya :
• Lokasi sebaiknya dekat dengan sumber pakan (areal tanaman sayur, pasar sayur, atau pasar–pasar secara umum)
• Lokasi dekat dengan daerah pemasaran. Namun hal ini tidak berlaku bagi peternak yang sudah punya komunitas atau paguyuban

Beternak Kambing Etawa

MINUM susu sapi. Itu sih biasa. Tapi minum susu kambing, Anda akan memperoleh manfaat luar biasa. Susu kambing diyakini banyak orang memiliki khasiat menyembuhkan penyakit jaundie (sakit kuning), asma, lelah, eksim (penyakit kulit) , migren (sakit kepala), bronchitis, TBC, karena kemampuannya yang bisa menggantikan Air Susu Ibu (ASI) bagi bayi. Susu kambing juga menjadi salah satu bahan utama dalam industri kosmetik.

Beternak Kuda

(Breeding) Beternak  kuda pacu, jarang dilirik oleh masyarakat disebabkan biaya mahal dan juga tidak menjanjikan karena peluang pasarnya yang kecil. Namun tidak bagi Adam, pengusaha expor impor asal Surabaya.
Dengan dibantu 5 karyawannya, Adam bisa mengelola ternak kuda pacunya yang berada di daerah Trawas, Mojokerto.

Beternak Rusa

Kandang Kambing Etawa

Female kids will come into season in their first autumn (September to December), and could be mated at this time i.e. at about 6 months old provided they are well grown and mature but the aftercare of these "kidded kids" needs to be especially good if the goat's full potential is to be realised. In the UK, most pedigree breeders do not mate their female goats until they are about 18 months of age.
Male kids may become sexually active when only a few weeks old! This means that male kids need to be kept separate from females from about six weeks of age or there could be "accidents". Male kids are used for stud purposes in their first autumn, although late born kids may not be ready until later in the breeding season.

Preperation For Breeding Cows

The best time to prepare for reproduction is in the selection process of replacement females. Reproduction is a genetic factor and you select for it.
Only keep heifers that were born in the first twenty-one days of the breeding cycle
Only keep heifers that began cycling by 8-10 months of age
Only keep heifers that have light birth weights
Only keep heifers that have wide rumps and a deep heart girth

Mouse Breeding

Boa Breeding

The first thing you will need to breed boas is a definite adult pair, males 18+ months and 4 feet, and females 3+ years. Both boas need to be in top condition, not fat or thin, but in peak condition. I don't breed my boas like many others do. I don't try and force a breeding season on my boas. Cooling may work some times but it can be very hit and miss. I believe that a female boa will come into "season" at any time of the year. Something tells her that her body is ready to reproduce and the follicles that she carrying dormant throughout the year begin to grow. This is the time that she will be producing pheromone to attract males. It could be winter, summer, fall, or spring. Regardless of the time of year it is when the female is ready that courting will begin.
